Lawrence University offers programs to support international students and remove language barriers for academic success.

  • The Friendship Family Program supplements the Lawrence experience by exposing students to American culture and traditions through off-campus activities.
  • The Lawrence University Pathway Program eases the transition from non-English high schools to university-level coursework.
  • The Waseda CS-L program provides an opportunity to improve English proficiency while pursuing academic interests and becoming part of the university community through structured support for students of Waseda University (Tokyo) participating in the one-year study abroad program.

This program is designed to supplement the international students’ academic experience by getting them off campus and into our community.

The program uses best practices in English language learning to quickly help you improve language skills during your first year.

The CS-L program provides Waseda students an opportunity to improve English proficiency while pursuing academic study in their areas of interest.
