Lawrence At A Glance

At Lawrence, small brings strong possibilities. Explore a few quick facts about the people, places, and experiences that shape a Lawrence education.

With undergraduate enrollment of around 1,500 students, Lawrence is intentionally small. That scale helps sustain our 8:1 student-to-faculty ratio, creating a community where students and professors can truly know one another by their questions, goals, and ambitions.

Your Lawrence experience can take you from our main campus in Appleton to Björklunden in Door County to our London Centre in the United Kingdom. Each location offers something distinct: the energy of a vibrant town, the natural beauty of Björklunden, and the immersive global perspective of London.

Within six months of graduation, 99% of Lawrence graduates are employed or continuing their education. This reflects the strength of a Lawrence education: rigorous academics, close faculty mentorship, and the adaptability to move confidently into careers, graduate school, service, and creative pursuits.

U.S. News & World Report ranks Lawrence No. 32 among Best Value Schools, recognizing the strength of our academic experience in relation to cost. That value shows up in rigorous academics, close faculty mentorship, and preparation for lives of achievement and purpose.
