As a Social Work Intern with an emphasis on mental health, they are committed to creating affirming, trauma-informed spaces where clients—especially those within the LGBTQ+ community—can feel seen, supported, and empowered.

Genelle is originally from the Fox Cities. She has worked as a journalist, marketing professional, and a small business owner. After living in Southern California and Western Massachusetts, she moved back to Wisconsin. As a lifelong learner, she decided to go back to school to study professional counseling. Genelle enjoys daily walks, dogs, humor, reading, writing, and art.

Valerie Young is a Clinical Mental Health Counseling intern. She is currently pursuing her Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Marquette University. Valerie graduated with honors from the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee with a Bachelor of Arts in psychology.
