About
Rooted in values of empathy, authenticity, and social justice, Emery approaches social work with a deep respect for the lived experiences and identities of every individual. As a Social Work Intern with an emphasis on mental health, they are committed to creating affirming, trauma-informed spaces where clients—especially those within the LGBTQ+ community—can feel seen, supported, and empowered.
Currently pursuing a Master’s in Social Work at the University of Wisconsin–Green Bay, Emery holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from UWGB. Their clinical interests are evolving, with a growing focus on Humanistic and Integrative approaches that honor the whole person. During their first practicum at Family Services of Northeastern Wisconsin, they worked closely with children and adolescents navigating emotional and behavioral challenges—an experience that deepened their understanding of resilience and relational care.
Outside of their professional life, Emery finds joy in storytelling and connection—whether through reading, adventuring in Dungeons & Dragons campaigns with friends, or spending time with their wife and three beloved dogs. They believe healing can happen in many forms, and they’re passionate about walking alongside others as they discover their own paths to growth.
