Dining Forums Sept. 19 & 27

Students can share ideas for 2019-20 dining changes, from meal plan options, changes to dining facilities/hours, and culinary choices, at upcoming forums. They'll be held in the Warch Campus Center Cinema (2nd level) from 4-5pm on both Wednesday, Sept. 19, and Thursday, Sept. 27. Focus groups are planned for later this fall.

Voter Registration

Election officials will be on campus Tuesday-Thursday, Sept. 25-27, from 11am-1:30pm to assist with voter registration. They'll be set up in the Warch Campus Center near the Information Desk on the main level. Bring your student ID, and consider filling out the registration form beforehand (pdf). 

If you've changed housing since the last time you voted, you'll need to re-register to vote. The general election is Nov. 6 and will include candidates for Wisconsin governor, U.S. Senator, U.S. Representative, and other positions. You'll find more information about the upcoming election here.

Other registration options: 

  • in person at the Appleton City Clerk's office, 100 North Appleton St., Appleton (in the City Center mall on College Avenue). Hours are 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday thru Friday, and up to 5:00 p.m. on the Friday before the election.
  • by mail until the 3rd Wednesday preceding the Nov. 6 election. Registration applications should be filled in, signed, dated, and mailed to the Appleton City Clerk's Office, 100 North Appleton St., Appleton, Wisconsin 54911-4799. Include a copy of an acceptable proof of residence (read more here)
  • at the polling place on election day.

Shuttle service following Winter break!

The Office of Student Life is offering one-way coach bus transportation back to campus after Winter Break on Wednesday, January 2, 2019. The cost is $20 - space is limited and seats will be available on a first-come, first-served basis - reservations are needed.  Total cost of the coach bus will be subsidized by the Office of Student Life to make the trip affordable to students.  Please stop by the Office of Student Life located in Raymond House or send an e-mail to with any questions or to reserve a seat.

Order a Survival Basket

Orders are being accepted by the Outdoor Recreation Club for survival basket, treats delivered to students just prior to finals week each term.

Parking Lottery, Vehicle Registration

If you plan to bring a vehicle to campus, remember to complete the vehicle registration process on Voyager in order to receive a vehicle registration sticker. For first-year students, vehicle registration will begin in mid-July.

After we've processed your vehicle registration information, you'll be eligible to sign up on Voyager for the parking lottery, a chance for a 24-hour parking spot.  In 2018-19, the parking lottery will run on this schedule:

Fall Term August 7, 2018, at 2pm
Winter Term November 12, 2018, at 2pm
Spring Term March 4, 2019, at 2pm

After the parking lottery runs, lottery participants can check Voyager for results. Those who win a parking lottery spot will be charged a $75 fee. The 24-hour parking lottery sticker will be placed in your campus mailbox.

CarShare program

Find out more about the CarShare program.  It gives students access to a rental vehicle for an hour, a day, overnight, or even on weekends.  The vehicle will be parked on Boldt Plaza for easy access.
