The Center for Community Engagement & Social Change (CCE) helps foster a campus-culture where Lawrentians are full and committed partners in the Appleton community.

Our mission is to engage students, faculty, and community partners in collaborative relationships that foster and promote a culture of engaged citizenship, responsible service-learning, and civic action. In doing so, Lawrentians will strive to further social progress; mitigate inequity; and develop durable, reciprocal partnerships with local nonprofits and municipal agencies. By engaging in meaningful community-based experiences, our students will develop a lifelong commitment to learning, service, and responsible citizenship.
