Lawrence Scholars in Business

Launched in 2008, Lawrence Scholars in Business (LSB) is designed for students who are interested in distinguishing themselves as strong candidates for careers in the competitive world of business, including: banking, consulting, marketing, arts management, insurance, international finance, entrepreneurship, and investment management.  Through the 2012 LSB Chicago trip, students had the opportunity to connect with alumni at CME Group Inc., Deloitte & Touche LLP, LBC Credit Partners, Madison Dearborn Partners and Northern Trust, as well as visit the Industrial Council of Nearwest Chicago (ICNC) and 1871.

If you aspire to succeed in a career in business, you can apply for a LSB Scholarship.  Internships with $5,000 stipends are available to cover expenses each summer.  Any student who has shown through an excellent academic record and extracurricular activities the right aptitude and aspirations to succeed in the highly competitive world of business is invited to apply.  Candidates must have a GPA of at least 3.5 and have completed at least two courses in mathematics or economics.  In order to be considered for this scholarship, you must submit a completed application and resume.  The application process for summer 2013 is now closed.
