I. Opening Space, Inviting an Ancestor
IV. If I Rise of the Wings of the Dawn

Origins allows us to explore our spiritual connections to our ancestors through remembrance and invitation. This piece takes inspiration from the music of Christianity, Islam, and Hinduism to create a fabric of interfaith collaboration and connection. Please take this time to reflect on the journeys of your ancestors and how that has culminated in your own. —Rehanna Rexroat ’21, Leila Ramagopal Pertl 87

During the process that led to the design of today’s service, the senior planning team wrote the following reflection about the shared spiritual journey of the class of 2021.

We become resilient as we break and rebuild

Through intermittent agency, and
awareness in encountering
firsts, lasts, and losses, our identities grow while persevering
through uncertainty

We are continuing our process of Becoming
