International Orientation and Arrival

International students should plan to arrive for International Orientation which leads into Welcome Week, at which time all new Lawrentians will join you on campus.

For detailed instructions on travel, orientation, and arrival, please visit our Current Students: International Orientation & Arrival page.

Things to consider about Deferring to next year

Once you confirm you want to defer your enrollment to next year, we will stay in touch and check back with you in January to confirm your enrollment. Once confirmed, we will work together to make sure you have proper documentation to successfully petition for a visa. Additionally, we will need to evaluate your new financial information and issue you a new scholarship and I-20 based on next year Cost of Attendance.

Advice for making a college decision

Pick a place where you REALLY get to interact with various alumni and professors outside of class because these connections will go a long way. Professors at Lawrence always have your best interest at heart and do everything they can to help you.
