Student Arrival Information

Please complete the following form by July 20, 2026 to request a pick up service. A confirmation email with driver contact information will be sent approximately one week in advance of your arrival. If you have any questions, please contact us at internationalhouse@lawrence.edu.

The Office of International Student Services office can provide transportation for new international students arriving to Appleton September 3 or September 4, 2026.

If you plan to fly to Chicago and take a bus to Appleton from there, please contact International House for additional information. Please note that it is strongly recommended you fly directly to Appleton instead of taking the bus as flying is much more convenient and faster.

Due to an extenuating circumstance I would like to request early arrival. I understand that airport pick-up service is not guaranteed outside of the above dates. Please note that early arrival is dependent upon the approval of Residential Education, and $75 will be charged for each night prior to September 3rd, 2026.

Note: ISS will provide transportation for new international students from either the Appleton (ATW) airport or the Appleton bus terminal on the indicated days of arrival (September 3/September 4). If a different date is requested, free transport from airport is not guaranteed and a confirmation will be sent approximately one week ahead of your arrival.
My bedding plan is:
Please ensure the items will arrive between August 24 - 28, 2026. Address the items to: Student name - International House 711 E Boldt Way, Appleton, WI 54911. These items will be ready for you to pick up at the International House when you arrive.
International Student Services can arrange basic bedding (a pillow, sheets, and a blanket) in advance, so it’s ready for you when you arrive. The cost is approximately $50 and will be charged to your student account.
Note: There will be a planned trip to Walmart or Target during orientation so that you can purchase items you need. However, that trip will take place on September 6th or 7th.
