Wellness for All

We’ll remind you regularly to balance your work with relaxation. You’ll find those opportunities in yoga classes, deep listening sessions, spiritual practices, and more.

When situations are overwhelming, help is nearby from our counseling staff as well as from our spiritual and religious center staff.

Have a sore throat? Interested in biofeedback? Want to play intramural sports? These are all part of the wellness services offered at LU.

Wellness Across Campus

If you search for the word 'wellness' on the Lawrence website, you'll see how dedicated we are to the topic. The music conservatory offers student musicians physical therapy assistance, hearing tests, and much more. Yoga classes are offered in the library, the campus center, the conservatory, and other locations across campus. Counseling staff members offer tips for living well socially, emotionally, physically, and academically.

Additionally, the Emotional Well-Being Task Force, a group of faculty, staff, and students, is investigating ways the Lawrence community can attain emotional balance. A report will be presented when the task force's work is complete, in summer 2019.
