Your vehicle must be registered with the Dean of Students office to participate in the lottery.  The lottery is run at the beginning of each term.  There will be a $75 per term fee for students who obtain a lottery spot.  Lottery parking fees are charged to your student account or can be paid to the cashier in Financial Services at Brokaw Hall.  The Dean of Students office will issue the special lottery sticker.  Different lottery stickers will be issued each term.  Stickers are to be placed on the inside back (rear) window, passenger side.  Parking fees are used to defray costs of parking enforcement.

24-hour parking spaces will be assigned to students with physical disabilities or medical needs.  The remaining spaces will be given to students by lottery drawn by seniority.  Each student requesting a medical exemption must submit a written request in advance of the lottery to the Dean of Students office regarding their need for a 24-hour space by noon on lottery draw day.  A statement from the student's doctor confirming the need for the exemption from the lottery must accompany this request.

Individuals who do not win a 24-hour student lottery spot can be added to the end of the waiting list on a first come, first serve basis.  Openings shall be filled from those people on the waiting list, following seniority and the lottery number priorities, at the beginning of each term.  Transfer of registration stickers is prohibited.

Term I lottery will run on Friday, September 18, 2015 at 2:00 pm.  Your vehicle must be registered before you will be able to participate in the lottery.  You must indicate (by clicking the button) on your Voyager account if you are interested in participating in the lottery by 1:00 pm on Friday, September 18, 2015.  You can begin the process on your Voyager account and complete the registration by stopping by Raymond House with your LU ID and the state-issued vehicle registration. 

Term II lottery will run on Friday, January 8, 2016 at 2:00 pm.  If you would like to participate in the student 24-hour parking lottery, please go to your Voyager account/Student Services/Vehicle Registration and Parking Lottery after January 4, 2015 and before January 8, 2016 at 1:00 pm - check the box to indicate your interest in the lottery.   Students who had lottery parking spaces for Term I will be able to use those spots until Term II lottery draw.

Term III lottery will run on Friday, April 1, 2016 at 2:00 pm.  If you would like to participate in the student 24-hour parking lottery, please go to your Voyager account/Student Services/Vehicle Registration and Parking Lottery after March 28, 2016 and before April 1, 2016 at 1:00 pm - check the box to indicate your interest in the lottery.  Students who had lottery parking spaces for Term II will be able to use those spots until Term III lottery draw.

Please remember that your vehicle must be registered before you will be allowed to participate in the lottery.
