About vehicle registration and parking

To better utilize our limited parking facilities, the university has established a system by which students, faculty, and staff share parking spaces.  Most of campus parking lots are utilized by faculty and staff during daytime hours, Monday through Friday.  The same lots are available for student parking overnight and on weekends.  In addition, a limited number of spaces are available to students for 24-hour parking and are allocated by LUCC through a lottery conducted at the beginning of each term.  There is also a city parking ramp located a short distance from campus that students will be able to park in for a fee of $75 per term.

STUDENTS:  Register Your Vehicle on Voyager (go to the Student Services menu - Vehicle Registration & Parking Lottery).

After completing the Voyager vehicle registration process, students should bring the following information to the Dean of Students Office (Raymond House) to receive a vehicle sticker:

  •     Driver’s license and your LU ID
  •     Vehicle registration
  •     Year, make, model, license plate number, and color of vehicle

Student vehicles must be registered each academic year with the Dean of Students Office in order to enter the lottery and to receive a parking ramp permit.  There is no charge for registration.

Students should call the Dean of Students Office (920/832-6596) promptly if their vehicle information changes.  If bringing a different vehicle to campus than was originally registered, students will need to register the new vehicle.

Ramp Parking & Student Vehicles

The university has contracted with the city of Appleton for 100 spaces in East Ramp (located east of city library on Washington & Morrison Street).  Parking on the fifth level and above is only permitted in the East Ramp.  Permits will be issued on a first come first serve basis.  The permit/pass is valid for entering and exiting the ramp once a day through the academic year.  If the student wins a lottery spot, their ramp permit/pass must be turned into the Dean of Students Office at Raymond House before the student will be issued the lottery spot.
