A Lawrence Business & Entrepreneurship Major merges a liberal arts education with business skills to produce visionary leaders.

Students can combine the Business & Entrepreneurship major — with its focus on developing business administration, marketing, finance and accounting, data analytics, and computer science skills — and a second major they are passionate about (Music, Languages, Government, Psychology, Environmental Studies, etc.), to prepare themselves to launch a startup or become a changemaker in a field of their choice.

Lawrence is forming strategic partnerships with community organizations to develop innovative living-learning spaces where students can collaborate with businesses and non-profits for hands-on experiential learning.

Alumni Perspective

"My job as a management consultant requires solving complex business problems, sometimes in areas where I know very little. Lawrence taught me how to research, learn topics quickly, and create structure around complexity which is exactly what my day to day requires."

Experiential Learning

Whether through an internship in the US or abroad, or an on-campus practicum, the Business & Entrepreneurship major takes you outside the classroom.

A career community is a cluster of similar career paths grouped together to help you better explore your areas of interest.

The Chandler Senior Experience

The Business & Entrepreneurship Senior Experience seminar provides a bookend to the introductory Business and Society course. Through readings, discussions, and guest speakers, students will reflect on their learning in the classroom and through the experiential learning component.
