Space is reserved for student use as allocated through LUCC lottery 24-hours a day in the Trever Hall lot west of Trever, in the East lot between 300 S. Meade St. & 813 E. John St., Plantz Hall parking lot, spaces directly behind Colman Hall and in the Hiett Hall lot located near the tennis courts. Only students with appropriate lottery permits may park in these areas.

The southernmost row of the Chapel lot, a designated space in the Wilson House lot and the spaces on the north side of Hurvis Center are reserved for visitor parking only.

The west end of the Banta Bowl lot may be used for (free) student parking. This is a good choice for students who use their vehicles only occasionally during the school year.

Vehicles need to be registered with the Dean of Students Office. A Lawrence University parking sticker must be affixed in the lower right rear window area of your vehicle in order to be authorized to park on campus. Reminder: Secure your vehicle and do not leave valuables in your vehicle. Lawrence University will not be responsible for items left in your vehicle.

Other lots may be used by students - after 5:00 p.m. Monday-Friday until 7:30 a.m. the following morning; all day Saturday, Sunday and holidays (all student vehicles must be moved by 7:30 am Monday-Friday), as noted below.  Mid term reading periods, final examination periods and term end reading periods are not considered holidays and parking restrictions are enforced on these days.

  • Hurvis Center lot
  • Memorial Chapel except the southernmost row of spaces
  • Music-Drama northeast side
  • Shattuck lot (Washington St. & Park Ave. corner lot)
  • Washington St. (corner of Washington St. and Lawe St.)
  • Wilson House lot

The Music-Drama lot is not available Sunday mornings as it is shared with the Episcopal Church.  During business hours 7:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Monday-Friday, these lots are reserved for faculty and staff use only.

D-Term & Break Periods:  If your vehicle is registered with Lawrence for the current academic year, you may park your registered vehicle in any student-designated lot during D-Term, Winter Break, and Spring Break periods until the residence halls open for the next term.  There is no fee to park in student lots during these times.
