Key Card Access
Campus Safety is in charge of assigning clearances to each staff, faculty, and student ID card. If you are experiencing difficulty entering a space you should have access to Contact Campus Safety at 920-832-6999.
Lockouts
If a student misplaces or forgets their key to their dorm, the first step is to call their Community Advisor (CA) on duty for assistance. If the CA is unavailable, Campus Safety can be reached at 920-832-6999 to assist. Staff and Faculty who misplace or forget their keys can contact campus safety for assistance.
Parking Enforcement
Campus Safety oversees parking enforcement in all Lawrence University parking lots. Staff can park in Staff lots from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. Students are able to park in Staff Lots between the hours of 5 p.m. and 7:30 a.m. and on weekends. Vehicles must be registered with the University to be parked in any Lawrence University parking space.
Safety Escorts
If students ever feel unsafe for any reason, they can reach out to Campus Safety and an officer will escort them either on foot or in a vehicle.
Vehicle and Bike Registrations
Each Student, Staff, and Faculty member can register one vehicle to park on campus for free, each additional vehicle registered will incur a registration fee. Bike registrations are not limited or monetized.
Fire Alarm Response
Campus Safety responds to all fire alarms in campus buildings. This includes academic spaces as well as residential spaces. Campus Safety and the Appleton Fire Department will clear the space and ensure it is safe to re-enter before allowing members of the Lawrence University community back inside.

Annual Safety & Security Report
As part of the university’s commitment to campus safety and security, the Lawrence University Annual Safety & Security Report is published in compliance with the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime and Statistics Act (Clery Act), the Higher Education Opportunity Act of 2008, and the Violence Against Women Reauthorization Act of 2013 (VAWA).
