When you visit Appleton, be sure to: Stop and talk to people you meet; everyone is so friendly! Visit Bubolz Nature Preserve, especially in winter for cross-country skiing. Stroll through the Farmer’s Market on Saturday morning if you’re here in the summer or fall.

When you visit Lawrence, check out: A performance at the conservatory, the delicious food in Andrew Commons, and all the great spaces for studying (my favorite was the Somerset Room in the Warch Campus Center).

Favorite Appleton restaurant: Carmella’s, Brewed Awakenings, Sai Ram, Antojitos

Three words to describe Lawrentians: Multifaceted, engaged, curious

Advice to prospective Lawrentians: Explore, ask questions, talk to people, and try to get a sense of what life is like at all of the colleges you are considering. You want to find the school that is the best fit for you! In my opinion, college should be a place that makes you feel at home but also challenges you and pushes you to grow.
