About

I began my career in education as an ESL teacher in South Korea, where I discovered how meaningful it is to support students as they navigate new environments and cultures. That experience ultimately led me to international student services at Lawrence University, where I’ve worked in both DEI and ISS roles supporting students’ transition, success, and sense of belonging. Over time, I became increasingly drawn to the admissions side of the student journey—helping students take the first step toward finding the right community. That path naturally led me to international admissions, where I’m excited to continue supporting global learners.

What’s your favorite spot on the Lawrence campus?

My favorite place on campus is International House because it is cozy, welcoming, and it's where international students can go to hang out, cook meals, and study. There are always delicious smells from the kitchen and international candy is almost always available to try.

What’s your favorite season on campus?

My favorite season on campus is definitely fall because it looks beautiful and the students have just returned from summer break, so the campus feels really lively and exciting.
