Your favorite...

Douglas Martin (biochemistry) and Karen Hoffmann (English) because both saw potential in me to be better in my writing skills and gave me tools that are effective.

Expressions of Ethnicity is my favorite class because of the content. It was amazing learning about different cultures not just by reading but also by watching movies, listening to music, seeing dancing and even looking at paintings.

The Diversity Center is where I feel at home.

The many music events we have.

Fourth floor in the library on the side parallel to College Avenue.

Being a part of Black Student Union, where we host our annual Cultural Expressions event.

Outside of being a student at Lawrence what do you like to do?  Hobbies?
I love watching Makeup, Fashion and Natural Hair videos on YouTube. I also love to shop both in the store and online. I love to pamper myself by getting my nails and feet done monthly. Lastly, I love being in the company of my friends.

How have you benefited from donors while you are at LU?
If it weren’t for the donors, I would not have been able to afford Lawrence. I am going to study abroad in Jamaica over spring break and without them, Jamaica would not have been an opportunity for me.

What does being a Lawrentian mean to you?
It means being a person of great character with a belief that they are destined for greatness! A Lawrentian perseveres and is someone capable of succeeding in spite of obstacles.

What are your plans for after Lawrence?
The plan is to go to graduate school at Hampton University in Hampton, VA. While being there I would like to work in a nonprofit organization helping black youth.

What clubs are you involved in at Lawrence?
I am involved in the Black Student Union.
