Giving Day Campus Events
Pre-Giving Day Tie Dye Party - October 5 - 4 to 5 pm
To get campus ready for the 10th annual Giving Day celebration the Philanthropy Engagement Center will be hosting a tie-dye event on October 5 from 4 to 5 pm outside of Ormsby Hall.
There will be 100 Giving Day t-shirts that are exclusive to this event available for students to make their own tie-dye creations. Students will be able to pick their shirts up at the different Giving Day events happening on campus!
On Giving Day - Thursday, October 12
Spin the Wheel Decade Trivia Event- Located outside the Warch Campus Center between 11 am to 1 pm. Come to the table to test your LU trivia by taking a turn spinning the trivia wheel. Where it lands will determine what Lawrence themed question you will be asked, answer the question correctly and you win a prize. All participants can enter the Giving Day student giveaway. The first 25 people at this event will get a free Giving Day t-shirt!
Game Changer Bag Toss Challenge- Join in on this Game Changer Campus Challenge by playing some bag toss! Help us unlock game changer funds from 2:30 to 4 pm in front of the Wellness Center. There will also be prizes and plenty of fun. All participants can enter the Giving Day student giveaway. The first 25 people at this event will get a free Giving Day t-shirt!
Philanthropy Pong– Join us outside the Warch Campus Center from 5 to 6:30 pm for some Philanthropy Pong. While participating in a fun game of pong to win prizes you will hear about the impact of giving at Lawrence University and some facts about LU through the decades. All participants can enter the Giving Day student giveaway. The first 25 people at this event will get a free Giving Day t-shirt!

Giving Day Golf Cart – Keep your eye out for our Giving Day golf cart! Decked out in Blue and White, students can hop on for a ride across campus or to their next class. Enjoy candy and learn all about Giving Day during your ride.
Giving Day Happy Hour in the VR - If you are 21 join us to raise a glass in honor of the 10th annual Giving Day. Drink specials will put the happy in this hour. Stop by the VR from 4:30 to 6 p.m. to join this celebration.
Celebrate on Social – The fun doesn’t stop off campus - We are celebrating a decade of giving on social! With fun challenges to unlock game changer funds and an opportunity to win giveaways, this is something you won’t want to miss. Make sure to follow Lawrence University on Instagram and Facebook!

Each Giving Day event you participate in will give you the option to enter in the giveaway where you have a chance to win a hammock, 4 can mini-fridge, and Bluetooth speakers.
