International Student Scholarship & Financial Aid Information

At Lawrence University, we understand that a high-quality, private, university education in the United States is a significant financial investment for our international families. Lawrence is committed to assisting international students in financing their education and we will work with you on an individual level.

All applicants are automatically considered for financial aid at the time of their completed application. Scholarships and Financial Aid are based on a combination of academic and personal achievements and financial need. Scholarships and financial aid vary in amounts from 20,000 to 31,000 USD per year. Lawrence University's international scholarships and grants are very generous however, there are no full scholarships. All students will be expected to contribute financially toward cost of attendance.

The 2020-21 academic year comprehensive Cost of Attendance is estimated at 65,500 USD. This icludes tuition, room, board, and fees. Our Cost of Attendance also includes estimates on what students spend on insurance, books, and personal expenses.

When you receive your admissions decision from Lawrence, you will also receive your financial aid package which includes your scholarships and any need-based aid. Once you have been awarded your scholarship and financial aid, you cannot lose it; the same level of scholarship and aid will be awarded annually through graduation.

All applicants must complete the Lawrence Certification of Finance form via your online portal within five days of your application deadline. No other forms (i.e. CSS Profile, etc.) will be accepted in its place. Submitting the Certification form along with supporting financial documents allows our financial aid team to determine if you are eligible for financial assistance in addition to any merit scholarships the university may offer you.
