Improving the Path for Wisconsin and Illinois Students
Institutional need is based on information provided on the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and supplemental financial aid materials. After a family’s institutional need is determined, Lawrence offers scholarships, grants, federal loans, and student employment that, on average, meets 90% to 95% of their need. The Lawrence Advantage will meet any remaining need with a supplemental grant for a student from Wisconsin or Illinois for all four years of the college experience (or five years for students in the BA/BMus double degree program).
Eligibility
Must be a Wisconsin or Illinois resident admitted as a first-year or transfer student for Fall 2023 or thereafter.
What does the Lawrence Advantage cover?
The Lawrence Advantage will fully meet the student’s “Institutional Need.” Institutional Need is the difference between the student’s Cost of Attendance and the student’s Institutional Expected Family Contribution (EFC). Lawrence will meet the student’s Institutional Need with scholarships, federal student loans, student employment, and grants.
