New international student? The International Connections Mentorship Program matches you with an upper class student, who will serve as a buddy and resource to help you adjust to life at Lawrence.

Contact your connection to ask any questions, even after school begins. They can be a great source of information about adjusting to campus, learning how to navigate curricular and co-curricular activities, and learn about the United States and Appleton, Wisconsin.

Program Expectations

  • Attend International Connections Dinner (Date & Time TBD).
  • Communicate with and/or ask questions of your international connection periodically via email over the summer and during the beginning of the fall term as you adjust to campus.
  • Understand that your connection has a full schedule, so patience may be necessary while waiting for a response.
  • Share your interests and learn more about curricular or co-curricular options at Lawrence University.

Contact internationalhouse@lawrence.edu with any questions.

International Connections Mentee Survey

Please complete the following short survey by June 15th, so we can make the best match possible.  Matches will be released via e-mail in early July.
