Foster your leadership and team building skills at the start of your Lawrence journey! Participate in outdoor programs that provide challenges to help you learn about yourself and connect with others.

About the Program

The Outdoor Leadership and Team Building will leave campus for and get an early glimpse of Björklunden (Lawrence's beautiful north campus) and Door County for three days of outdoor leadership, team building and outdoor adventure activities. Led by two student Outdoor Recreation Club mentors, new students will participate in a variety of activities such as a ropes course, climbing walls, a zip line and team building activities. Evenings will offer the opportunity to reflect on the days adventure, plan for tomorrow and learn from each other. Some activities will include members of other pre-orientation groups.

All activities are planned by outdoor educators and are designed for all skill levels.
