Lawrence University offers group visits for high school groups and college bound organizations.

About the Visit

We will review your request and contact you within three business days. Once your group visit is confirmed, we will provide an itinerary and other pertinent information; please do not make any final plans until your group visit has been confirmed by the Admissions office.

During the visit, a current Lawrence student will lead your group on a 70-minute tour of our beautiful campus along the Fox River. An admissions counselor will provide a 30-minute presentation highlighting Lawrence's academics, student clubs and organizations, the admissions process, and more.

Guidelines for Group Visits

  • Registration: Advanced registration is required. Please submit your request at least two weeks before your proposed visit date.
    • NOTE: Group visits are only available on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Approval of group visit requests is dependent on the availability of student tour guides, classes being in session, and admissions-related events. We are unable to accommodate groups in March or April due to high volume of student visitors and admissions recruitment events.
  • Capacity: The maximum number of students we can accommodate per visit is 50.
  • Chaperones: Please provide 1 adult chaperone per 15 students.
  • Please plan to arrive on campus 15 minutes before the start of the group visit. If your group arrives late to campus, your itinerary will be altered by shortening or eliminating sessions.
  • If your plans change and you are no longer able to attend your scheduled group visit, please cancel at least 48 hours in advance. We will be happy to reschedule your group visit for another date.
  • Dining options: Your group is welcome to enjoy lunch in our dining hall. Cost for Andrew Commons (all-you-can-eat) is $10.60 per person.
