I curate the Lawrence University Art Collection and teach courses in museum studies. My professional background includes work with a range of galleries, museums, and preservation organizations—most recently the Wisconsin Historical Society. I am excited to work with student curators and studio art majors to bring their work into the Wriston Art Galleries.
As an art and architectural historian, I specialize in Midwestern vernacular architecture with a focus on applying this scholarship to preservation practice and public history. Alongside my curatorial and preservation work, I am also a practicing artist working primarily as a painter.
