Curricular Director of Summer Institute, Instructor of First Year Studies, Senior Experience Coordinator and Lecturer of Biology
My name is Rose Theisen (pronounced Tyson). I am the curricular program director of Summer Institute and also an Instructor of First Year Studies and the Senior Experience Coordinator and Lecturer of Biology at Lawrence University. I have a background in Chemistry and a passion for teaching and learning and promoting Equity, Diversity, Inclusion, and Sense of Belonging in higher education.
In my role as curricular program director of Summer Institute, I plan and manage academic activities, including the morning SI seminar course and the afternoon topics courses. I also plan and manage the trip to the Oneida Nation and the weekend at Björklunden.
