About

My research interests include combinatorics, algebraic geometry, Galois theory, and mathematical physics. I've studied analogies between finite graphs and Riemann surfaces, chip-firing games on graphs, and have recently taken an interest in network theory which, motivated by chemical reactions and population dynamics, involves a mix of graph theory, differential equations, probability,  and quantum mechanics. I enjoy teaching courses all across the mathematical landscape.
