Welcome String Students!
Prepare your Lawrence Symphony Orchestra audition. Here are the requirements for each instrument.
Check out the Music Theory, Musicology, and Keyboard Skills Con Brio pages. If you are interested in Jazz, Composition, or Music Education, look at those pages as well.
Print out and learn the third movement (Presto) of Mozart Divertimento in D Major, K. 136. Violinists can take a look at both Violin 1 and Violin 2 parts. We will read and rehearse this piece together during Welcome Week.
Communicate with your studio teacher. Send an email to your teacher from your Lawrence account and ask if there are additional items you should prepare over the summer.
