About

I am an applied linguist who specializes in the areas of Pragmatics and Second Language Acquisition, particularly in the context of interaction. My research explores the development of second language interactional competence and pragmatics. I also have interests in other areas of applied linguistics, including sociopragmatics, intercultural communication, and heritage and second language pedagogy. My work has appeared in journals such as Applied Pragmatics, Lingua, and the Journal of Politeness Research.
