On-campus residence halls offer an exceptional value

DORMITORY HOUSING has closed as of May 31st, 2017!!!

FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO HAVE PURCHASED ON-CAMPUS HOUSING, EARLY CHECK-IN WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR YOUR ROOM FROM 6PM-9PM ON MONDAY EVENING!! Come to the Warch Center 2nd floor (which is one floor DOWN from the main entrance to the building).
This will be room check-in only, full conference check-in and registration will be open (Warch Center 2nd floor) from 8am to 5pm on Tuesday, and then 9-5pm for the rest of the week. Check-in for on campus residence hall rooms will be 3pm-5pm on Tuesday-Friday.

[NOTE: If you have reserved an on-campus room and it looks like you will not arrive until after 5pm Tuesday-Friday, please call 920-832-7332 between 3pm and 5pm and your key will be held out for you.]

On campus parking will be available to IDRS guests in the Residence Hall and Faculty/Staff parking lots. Parking permits WILL NOT be issued for the conference. Guests will not be ticketed.
Important note: Cars parked in Lots 1 or Lot 2 of Memorial Presbyterian Church without a permit will be ticketed and towed.
In addition, Downtown Appleton offers a variety of safe, convenient parking options, including:
·         Metered street parking
·         Multiple parking garages
·         Off-street parking at select businesses
Parking meters on College Ave. are $.75 per hour and are limited to two hours from 9am-6pm.  Meter parking is free after 6pm on weekdays and all day on Sundays and holidays.


Two tiers of on-campus housing are available during the conference. All on-campus housing options include meals.

  • Standard (No Air-Conditioning; shared bathroom on each floor; includes meals)
  • Premium (Air-Conditioning; private or semi-private bathroom; large windows overlook the Fox River; includes meals)

Residence halls are conveniently located within one to three blocks of all IDRS conference events. Common areas in each residence hall are equipped with televisions, vending machines, refrigerators and laundry facilities.

Rooms are furnished with extra-long twin mattresses. Guests will receive a linen packet which will include a pillow, blanket, top and bottom sheet, pillowcase, two towels, one washcloth, one plastic cup and a bar of soap. Beds are not made.

Additional amenities include complimentary guest wireless and access to the university health & wellness center and pool for conference attendees staying on campus.

Bon Appétit, known for its culinary expertise and commitment to socially responsible practices, offers extraordinary through-the-line “all you can eat” dining service in the Warch Campus Center cafeteria. Meals will include dinner the day of arrival, breakfast, lunch and dinner each full day in residence, and breakfast on the day of departure. All food is freshly prepared and made from scratch.

Lunch: 11:30-1
Dinner: 5-6:30
