Viking Chorale from above

Sing like a Viking

The Viking Chorale, under the direction of Stephen Sieck, encourages all students from the entire university with an interest in singing to participate. The 90-voice Chorale sings in all major concerts on campus and is involved in the major choral works that take place each year as well. The Chorale has been involved in performances of the music of Dr. Aldophus Hailstork, the Bach St. John Passion, Brahms Ein deutsches Requiem, Britten War Requiem, Handel Messiah, Beethoven Mass in C and Walton Henry V Suite in recent years. Viking Chorale achieves high artistic singing, but the rehearsal demands are minimal, fitting comfortably into a vigorous academic schedule.

No previous experience needed, no formal audition needed.  All you need to bring is your voice, your ears and your brains!

All large ensemble concerts performed in the Lawrence Memorial Chapel can be enjoyed around the world through our live, four camera video webcasts.
