It’s your future

Change your Tune

Lawrentians regularly go on to perform on some of the biggest stages around the world, lead music departments at colleges across the country, and make careers for themselves in all sorts of ways in, and related to, the music industry. For non-music majors, “the Con” offers you an open door to take courses that complement your overall education.

Lawrentian Spotlight

Lawrence Community Makes Music Across Appleton During Mile of Music

For Lawrence Chamber Music Festival participants, Mile of Music offered an opportunity unlike any traditional concert. Throughout the week, the nearly 80 young musicians worked alongside festival artists to develop original arrangements, often with only a short rehearsal period before taking the stage.

Two musicians play bass clarinets on stage, reading sheet music from a stand. A grand piano is visible in the background under warm lighting.
