How to Apply
- Complete all general application requirements
- Submit supplemental music requirements
- Music Teacher Recommendation - This may come from your private teacher or an ensemble director. You will be asked to provide their name and email address within your application. They will then receive a link to complete a recommendation.
- Music Resume - This may be completed with your application for admission or through your application status portal after you have submitted your application.

Audition Dates and Procedures
Bachelor of Music, Double Degree (Bachelor of Music & Bachelor of Arts), and Bachelor of Musical Arts
In-person, virtual, and self-recorded audition modes are available with varying dates based on your application round (Early Decision, Early Action 1, or Regular Decision). All modes, dates, and rounds are considered equally. You will register for your audition through your application status portal after your application has been submitted.
Bachelor of Arts in Music
An audition is not required for admission to the Bachelor of Arts in Music program. If you choose to audition or submit a portfolio as part of your application to Lawrence, this information will not affect your admission decision. It will, however, allow us to connect you with the appropriate faculty members while at Lawrence.
Audition Dates
You may choose any of the audition modes/dates associated with your application round. All modes, dates, and rounds are considered equally. You must submit an application to receive access to audition registration.
