Lawrence strives to maintain a safe and secure living, learning, and working environment for all. From emergency assistance to student transportation, Campus Safety provides services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Restricted Campus Access
Access to campus buildings is restricted to the Lawrence Community, and ICE or law enforcement agents may not enter non-public areas without proper legal authority or Campus Safety approval. If agents are present without escort, community members should immediately contact Campus Safety and not grant entry or provide information.
Medical Services
The Buchanan Kiewit Wellness Center offers exams and treatment for minor illnesses and injuries, as well as resources on medical questions and emergencies.

Annual Safety & Security Report
As part of the university’s commitment to campus safety and security, the Lawrence University Annual Safety & Security Report is published in compliance with the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime and Statistics Act (Clery Act), the Higher Education Opportunity Act of 2008, and the Violence Against Women Reauthorization Act of 2013 (VAWA).
