Spring Term 24-hour parking lottery

Spring Term 24-hour parking lottery application is now open. If you would like to participate in the 24-hour parking lottery sign on to your Voyager account, Student Services and click on the button “Participate in Lottery”. The deadline to enter the parking lottery is Monday, March 6, 2017 at 2:00pm. Your vehicle must be registered to participate in the lottery. The deadline to register your vehicle is 1:00pm on Monday, March 6, 2017.

Spring Term 2017 lottery will run on Monday, March 6, 2017 at 2:00pm. If you do win a spot, you have until end of day Friday, March 10, 2017 to accept the $75 charge. If you don’t accept the charge by that day and time, the spot will go to the next person on the wait list.

Two or more violations in any given term will disqualify a student from entering the parking lottery for the subsequent term on campus, including the next academic year. That means if you have two or more tickets in Winter Term, you are not eligible for the Spring Term 24-hour parking lottery.

Students requesting a medical exemption must submit a written request to the dean of students’ office by noon on Wednesday, March 1, 2017. This request must be accompanied by a statement from the student’s doctor confirming the need for the exemption from the lottery.

Changes to Parking Lottery, Vehicle Registration

If you plan to bring a vehicle to campus, remember to complete the vehicle registration process on Voyager in order to receive a vehicle registration sticker. Your sticker will be available from residence hall staff when you arrive on campus. Commuters can pick up their vehicle registration sticker at the Information Desk in the campus center.

Once you're registered your vehicle, sign up on Voyager for the parking lottery, a chance for a 24-hour parking spot.  In 2016-17, the parking lottery will run on this schedule:

Fall Term August 1, 2016, at 2pm
Winter Term November 14, 2016, at 2pm
Spring Term March 6, 2017, at 2pm

After the parking lottery runs, lottery participants can check Voyager for results. Those who win a 24-hour parking lottery spot must accept the $75 charge on Voyager in order to receive a 24-hour parking lottery sticker. For fall term, the 24-hour parking lottery stickers will be distributed with the vehicle registration sticker.
