Rick Kubly is an alum of Lawrence University, graduating in 2020 with a Bachelor of Music in guitar performance with a jazz emphasis and a Bachelor of Arts in physics. He began playing guitar in 2008, and since then has formally studied classical, jazz, fingerstyle, rock, and blues. After graduating, he began teaching guitar lessons at Jim’s Music in Green Bay, and opened his own teaching studio in 2023. Aside from teaching, he actively gigs with local rock bands, along with solo jazz and classical performances.
