I’ve been a percussionist for 30 years and a composer and educator for 17. I’ve performed in rock bands, symphony orchestras, chamber music, and percussion groups. My compositions have been performed all over the U.S. and abroad. My lifelong commitment to education took me through various positions in academia, most recently in Admissions! Lawrence University Conservatory of Music is an incredible school, and I am excited to help talented, creative, and hardworking students find their place at Lawrence.
What’s your favorite spot on the Lawrence campus?
My favorite place on campus is the ampitheater outside Wriston Art Center. It’s a great place for concerts when the weather is good!
Where’s your favorite place to eat or grab coffee in Appleton?
My favorite place to eat in Appleton is Mai’s Deli. There is a wide range of southeastern Asian food, and the chicken wings are outstanding.
