While studying at the University of Denver, I held multiple positions interacting with the student body, whether it was acting as a peer mentor to incoming first-years, grading assignments for intro-level computer science classes, or sitting in on a leadership class as a teaching assistant. Following graduation, I buried fiber lines for TDS Telecom while navigating a difficult entrly-level job market. Now, I’m more than thrilled to be back on a college campus helping (prospective) students once more!

What’s your favorite place to eat or grab coffee in Appleton?

My favorite place to eat in Appleton is Mill City Public House. They have unique specials every day, world class tots, and a long list of burgers that will change your life (plus falafel patties for the vegetarians and vegans out there)!

What’s your favorite season on campus?

My favorite season on campus is the winter. I love to see the snow-coated academic buildings, and the sunsets are always gorgeous during that time of year — very purple. I aslo love to pull my ice skates out of the closet, and Ormsby Lake is the perfect place for a few laps. Plus, it’s a special day if you can see your breath in the morning!
