Dr. Brittany Bell serves as the Dean of Students at Lawrence University, where she provides strategic leadership for a broad portfolio of student-centered programs and services. In her role, Dr. Bell oversees the First and Second Year Dean, Residential Education and Housing, and Student Engagement, Activities, and Leadership teams ensuring a cohesive and supportive experience for students throughout their academic journey.
Since joining Lawrence in 2019 as the Assistant Dean of Students and Director of the Intercultural Center, Dr. Bell has been a steadfast advocate for student development, equity, and belonging. She brings over 15 years of experience in higher education, with a background spanning student affairs, student engagement, and retention.
She holds a Doctor of Education in Higher Education Administration (Ed.D.), a Master of Science in Education in Student Affairs (M.S.Ed.), and a Bachelor of Arts in Communications (B.A.). Her leadership is rooted in a holistic approach to student success, emphasizing collaboration, accountability, and the empowerment of student voices across campus.
