Locating Books in the Mudd Library

  • Our call number locations page lists where you can find your favorite subjects in the library. We use the Library of Congress Classification system.
  • Maps of the Library show detailed maps of materials, study spaces, offices, and more that can be found in the library.

Non-Print Books

eBooks

The Mudd Library has access to the general EBSCO eBook Collection, as well as the Elementary, Middle School, and High School Nonfiction Collections. Access to these collections is restricted to current Lawrence students, faculty, and staff.

OverDrive Digital Library from the Appleton Public Library contains many popular fiction and non-fiction titles. An Appleton Public Library card number is required to download content. Lawrence students are eligible for a public library card by visiting the Appleton Public Library.

eBooks can also be found online at sites such as, the Internet ArchiveDirectory of Open Access Books, Google Books, and the HathiTrust.

Audiobooks

The Mudd Library has a collection of audio books and other text CDs near the circulation desk. Browse through titles in the library catalog.

The Appleton Public Library provides access to OneClickDigital and Overdrive audiobooks. They also have a collection of audiobooks on CD, Playaway, and other formats.
