The Inspiration of Former Seminar Leader Jack Rhodes

Jack Rhodes, who offered over 20 film seminars at Björklunden, and taught into his final year in 2022, left us with the words “I will be with you there in spirit.” 

The Jack and Glenda Rhodes Endowed Fund for Björklunden has been established to honor Jack's and his wife Glenda’s contributions to the seminar program and to sustain film and media studies at Björklunden. Rhodes elegantly defined the SPIRIT of a Björklunden seminar week as:

• a Tranquility with the power to transport you to another time.
