The Office of the Provost and Dean of Faculty provides leadership of the academic program and of the faculty, including on matters of instruction, assessment of student learning, and faculty development. We manage the academic affairs operating budget and a range of endowed funds that support faculty and students—including summer research, senior experience funding, and the Wriston and West scholarship programs. We’re on the second floor of Samspon House. Please come by and say hi!

I teach courses on the history and theory of photography, museum studies, global modernisms, and contemporary art. In addition to an active curatorial practice, I write about photography from Cuba and the Cuban diaspora. My work as curator extends beyond the Wriston Art Galleries, including care for the Teakwood Room, a historic room in Chapman Hall, and public sculptures on campus like Otāēciah, in Kaeyes Mamaceqtawuk Plaza.
