Mr. Fessler serves as Professor of Neurosurgery at the Rush University Medical Center. Prior to assuming this position, he was the John Harper Seeley Professor and Chief of Neurosurgery at the University of Chicago Hospitals and Clinics.

Mr. Fessler earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Lawrence, a master’s degree in psychology from North Dakota State College of Science, and an MD and PhD in Pharmacology and Physiology from the University of Chicago.
