Come From Away – Fall Term Mainstage

On September 11, 2001, 38 planes were diverted to the airstrip in Gander, Newfoundland. The people on those planes didn’t know why they’d been sent there, but they were worried, and hungry, and angry, and heartsick. Embracing these folks who “came from away,” the town responded with food, shelter, comfort and resilience – forming a community of and for all of them.
