Lawrence Swing Dance (LSD) is a swing community based out of Lawrence University in Appleton, WI. We have a large social dance every weekend and teach lessons in Lindy Hop as well as east coast occasionally. Recently LSD has begun a routine group program to prepare for community outreach, and in the past has performed at nursing homes and taught lessons at local schools. Members often travel to other corners of the Midwest for lindy exchanges and social dances. Each school year we put on at least one large live-band event—check out the Events/News page for more information! All social events are open to the public.
