The Office of Communications is the primary point of contact between the university and all media representatives. The office handles all media inquiries for Lawrence, its programs and events.
Access to Campus
The Lawrence campus is private property. All requests for media access to the campus, background information, photos or to arrange interviews with Lawrence faculty, staff, students or visiting speakers/performers should be directed to Rick Peterson, Media Relations Manager. The media relations manager will coordinate access to campus and university spokespersons. Journalists are asked not to contact members of the Lawrence community without first contacting the media relations manager.
The media relations manager also coordinates the preparation of news features that are disseminated to the media and posted to the Lawrence University website. Unless otherwise determined, Craig Gagnon, the Associate Vice President for Communications, will serve as the primary media spokesperson for the college.
The Office of Communications is located on the first floor of Brokaw Hall.
