The Social Code has been established at Lawrence University in order to support and accomplish the mission of the university and to establish a community dedicated to the personal development of its individual students.
The Social Code consists of four main points that have been established to govern student conduct.

The right to personal security and safety of all members of the community shall be protected, and any act of an individual, which is conducted in willful disregard of that right shall be in violation of this code.

The right to maintain personal property free from wrongful interference by others shall be protected, and any act of an individual, which is conducted in willful disregard shall be in violation of this code.

All LUCC extant legislation listed on-line in the Lawrence Student Handbook section of the website shall be part of this Social Code.

All university regulations listed on-line in the Lawrence Student Handbook section of the web site shall be a part of this Social Code.
