Take the CAMPUS Survey

All students are urged to take the CAMPUS Survey (CAMPUS=Connection, Academic Motivation and Persistence of University Students).

For details, check your LU email for an Oct. 19 message from Prof. Matt Stoneking. Those who complete the survey will be eligible for a drawing for an Amazon Fire HD 8 tablet.

Lawrentians & Voting

Learn about voter registration, voter IDs, early voting (it begins Oct. 17 in Appleton) and the Nov. 8 election (it's almost here!): Voting at LU.

New campus voting location: For the Nov. 8 general election, the Lawrence campus will vote at the nearby Memorial Presbyterian Church, 803 E. College Ave. (Previously, the District 4 polling place was at Alexander Gym.) Watch for more information as the election draws nearer.

Welcome, new students!

When our new students arrive on campus in the days ahead, they'll have plenty to do. Welcome Week schedules for international and domestic students, as well as their parents, can be found on the Welcome Week page of our website.

Changes to Parking Lottery, Vehicle Registration

If you plan to bring a vehicle to campus, remember to complete the vehicle registration process on Voyager in order to receive a vehicle registration sticker. Your sticker will be available from residence hall staff when you arrive on campus. Commuters can pick up their vehicle registration sticker at the Information Desk in the campus center.

Once you're registered your vehicle, sign up on Voyager for the parking lottery, a chance for a 24-hour parking spot.  In 2016-17, the parking lottery will run on this schedule:

Fall Term August 1, 2016, at 2pm
Winter Term November 14, 2016, at 2pm
Spring Term March 6, 2017, at 2pm

After the parking lottery runs, lottery participants can check Voyager for results. Those who win a 24-hour parking lottery spot must accept the $75 charge on Voyager in order to receive a 24-hour parking lottery sticker. For fall term, the 24-hour parking lottery stickers will be distributed with the vehicle registration sticker.

If you have questions, please email the Dean of Students Office at deanofstudents@lawrence.edu.
