Garden Staff

 

The garden is currently being run by two part-time managers who are Lawrence students. It is a goal of the enterprise
to keep the garden completely student-run with help from only members

Secret to garden success: Biodynamics, and his sweet visor
Favorite vegetable and why: Burpless cucumbers , Aaron is a gassy fellow
Other: Noble and chivalrous, Aaron was promptly offered multiple modeling jobs after this picture hit the web

Year: Sophomore

Secret to garden success: Is actually The Shadow, but the hat really gives it away
Favorite vegetable and why: Tepin hot peppers - they're the hotest in the world, duh!
Other: Often wears a hat that he bought in Bolivia, exclusively

Favorite gardening activity: Planting, transplanting, and retransplanting
Secret to garden success: Features a drill/nalgene for a left hand and Megan Bjella for a right hand
Favorite vegetable and why: Tomatillos, because Ian just hates them
Other: Wears obnoxious shirts that are stolen from seniors of years past.

     

 

 

 

Volunteers

Multiple groups volunteer for SLUG. Amongst them are the McCarthy House Co-op, Greenfire, Appleton YMCA Project Youth Team, Dr. David
Thompson's summer chemistry research crew, and individuals like you. E-mail garden@lawrence.edu if you or a group to which you belong are interested
